Family bathrooms, en-suites and wet rooms, tanked and tiled properly
Bathrooms are small rooms with a great deal going on behind the tiles. We take them back to the walls, put the plumbing and waste where the new layout needs it, tank the wet areas correctly and tile to a level you will not find yourself re-grouting in two years.

An integral garage is usually the easiest extra room in the house, because the walls and roof are already there. The work is in what you cannot see: raising and insulating the floor, dealing with damp, closing up the garage door opening and getting the room to modern thermal standards.

Internal & External Painting and Decorating
Interior decoration and exterior repaints, prepared properly
Decorating is judged on the finish and decided by the preparation. Inside, that is filling, caulking and sanding before a brush is opened. Outside, it is burning off, treating and priming the timber that is failing rather than painting over it and coming back in two years.

Skimming, re-plastering, dry lining and stud partitions
Plaster is the layer everything else is judged against. A wall that is out by a few millimetres shows up in the skirting, the tiling and the light across it, so we would rather spend the extra hour getting the boards and the beads right than chase it later.

Carpentry runs through every job we do, from the floor structure in a loft to the media wall in a finished living room. It is also the trade where the difference between adequate and excellent is most visible at eye level.

Plumbing and heating on a renovation is mostly about sequence: getting pipework and waste runs into the right place while the floor is still up and the walls are still open, and testing it before anything is closed in.

Electrics get designed twice on a bad job: once on the plan and once again when someone realises the island moved. We set out lighting and power against the layout you are actually getting, and mark it up on site with you before a single cable is clipped.

Commercial work is judged on two things domestic work is not: how fast the space is earning again, and whether the paperwork stands up. We programme commercial refurbishments around void periods and hand over with the compliance documentation in order.

Engineered timber, laminate, LVT and vinyl laid over a properly prepared and levelled base, finishing off a renovation or as a job in its own right.

Bespoke fitted storage built to the real dimensions of the room — a regular part of our carpentry and joinery work.

Setting out, digging, foundations and drainage diversions — the stage every extension and garage conversion starts from.
Underfloor heating
Wet and electric underfloor heating installed and zoned as part of a bathroom, kitchen or extension, and balanced against the existing system.
Fire doors & compartmentation
Fire doors, protected stair enclosures and compartmentation for loft conversions and HMO works, installed to what building control will actually accept.
Making good after other trades
Plastering, decorating and joinery repairs to put a house back together after structural work — often the difference between a job that looks finished and one that does not.
