Internal & External Painting and Decorating
Interior decoration and exterior repaints, prepared properly
We decorate as the last stage of our own building work, and as a standalone job. Either way the sequence is the same: protect, prepare, make good, then paint — and the preparation is usually the longest part of the programme.
Externally we work around the British weather rather than pretending it is not there. Fascias, soffits, render, masonry and joinery all get treated for what is actually wrong with them before any topcoat goes on.
Interior decoration
Filling, caulking, sanding and sealing new plaster, then cutting in and rolling to a consistent finish — walls, ceilings, woodwork, stairwells and the awkward corners that get skipped.
Exterior painting
Masonry, render, timber, fascias, soffits and windows: failed paint removed rather than overcoated, rot cut out and made good, bare timber primed, and coatings chosen for the substrate and the exposure.
Working around you
Rooms protected and put back at the end of each day where we are decorating an occupied house, and a colour order that lets you keep using the parts of the house we are not in.
